Klein (Innowarmth) ("us", "we", or "our") operates the CoPack mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

A. Personal & Authentication Data

  • Registered Accounts: If you sign in using Google or Apple authentication, we collect basic account credentials via Firebase Authentication (such as your email address and unique authentication user ID).
  • Anonymous Accounts: If you choose to use the app without registering, a randomized, unique identifier is generated to manage your session and sync data across your app usage.

B. User-Generated Content

  • We process and store the packing lists, custom items, categories, tags, and preferences you create within the app.

C. Technical & Diagnostic Data

  • Crash Reports & Performance: We may collect anonymous crash logs, app state at the time of a crash, and performance diagnostics via Firebase Crashlytics to identify bugs and maintain stability.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • Service Operation: To provide, sync, and maintain your packing lists across your devices.
  • Account Management: To manage your account status and authenticate your access.
  • App Improvement: To analyze crash reports and fix technical issues.
  • Customer Support: To respond to your inquiry emails or support requests.

3. How Your Data Is Stored & Third-Party Processing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your data is stored and processed using the following infrastructure:

  • Server Hosting (OVH): Your synchronized packing lists and app data are securely hosted on servers located within the European Union (France) provided by OVH.
  • Authentication & Diagnostics (Google Firebase): User authentication and crash analytics are handled via Google Firebase.
  • Subscriptions & Payments: All payments and subscriptions are processed directly by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not store or process your credit card or billing details on our servers.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR Compliance)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for collecting and using your data depends on the information concerned:

  • Contract Performance: To fulfill our service agreement (providing packing list storage and sync).
  • Legitimate Interests: To improve our app stability (crash reporting) and maintain infrastructure security.
  • Consent: Where you have explicitly agreed to our Terms and Privacy Policy upon onboarding.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Retention: We retain your account information and saved lists for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the Service.
  • Account Deletion: You have the right to request full deletion of your account and associated server data at any time. You can request deletion directly in the app settings or by contacting us at innowarmth+copack@gmail.com.

6. Your Data Rights

Depending on your location, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
